The one with the stubborn root

Somewhere in this grid is the enormous vegetable from the old folk tale, the one so ambitious that the entire household has to line up and pull. I have run a kitchen like that. Everybody heaving, nobody budging, and the thing finally comes loose all at once and we all land on the floor. Worth it every time.
